Jay A. Abarbanel

Overview

Mr. Abarbanel practices in complex civil litigation, commercial litigation, employment litigation, estate litigation, insurance litigation, real estate litigation, and other general areas of civil litigation. Mr. Abarbanel has extensive experience representing title insurers as well as individuals and entities insured under title insurance policies. Mr. Abarbanel has successfully represented individuals, large and small businesses, banks, financial institutions, and Fortune 500 companies at trial and on appeal both in state and federal courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Aside from litigation, Mr. Abarbanel also has experience in business transactions. He also represents clients in drafting and negotiating prenuptial agreements.

Mr. Abarbanel is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He is a 2010 graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, Magna Cum Laude, where he was a member and Business Editor of the University of Baltimore Law Review. Mr. Abarbanel is a 2007 graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, Cum Laude.
